Autumn Greetings
This month, Cape Town celebrated the annual cycle tour in perfect weather. This event, together with the Autumn Equinox heralds the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn. May all our readers challenged by the many shifts we are experiencing locally and globally, celebrate with our co-working team, the incredible resilience and creativity of human beings in South Africa. We all heard such wonderful stories of ‘uplift, rising & thriving’, despite the bleak news that seems to pour in continuously from media reports. Whilst not oblivious or ‘by-passing’ real hardships that many are experiencing right now, we are witnessing the rise of positivity, rise of ‘solo-preneurs’, people finding their destiny paths; and thousands of citizens who were able to ensure that the 20th March protest ran fairly peacefully.
In this edition, we highlight ‘keeping our goals and visions for 2023 on track’; a fabulous international training of teachers in Yoga during June (see backpage and advertorial); the Interfaith Conference, as well as Energy Medicine Conference in April. No doubt the ‘no money article’ will be helpful and a real working study for some. Do check the Community Calendar for other dates.
We warmly welcome new advertisers, to our Link Up Community.
A big shout-out to the sterling work of our partners, Purple Design, Onyx printers and TLC Social, our social media team whose ‘meditation reel tipped’ the scales on the side of phenomenal! A further shout-out to Ubuntu Wellness as we showcase the winners of the Healing Diabetes & Other Lifestyle Diseases Cook Book. Thank you also to Tim Cubitt for the fabulous front page photo.
Kindly help us find the perfect co-worker to join Link-Up WCape Ops Team – a Young enthusiastic people-friendly person living close to Wynberg, interested in whole natural living.
Lastly, we wish you ‘Happy Prepping’ for the Winter on its way to the Cape, and please write to us about what you would like to see more of in your community
magazine.
With warm Autumn greetings,
Anne-Lise, Michele, Emma, Estelle.
