Summer Greetings
2022 year has been quite a ride, for us all, & especially for those with children & elderly in their care – HAT’S OFF to all the members of our Link Up Community in that role.
We’re celebrating our 2022 footprints, Thank You! Advertisers; the many fabulous gifts for the Gift Basket, all your support, interest & feedback. Thank you to the Link-Up Team – Estelle, Lee-ann, Michele, Hazel, Charlotte, Theresa, Emma, Zephne, Evelyn & Fadeela. Everyone participated to ensure a thriving & sustainable project.
Enjoy this issue while you relax on the beach, in the sun, in the woods, on your ‘stoep’, as you dream & create your new Life in 2023. We have included some tools and tips for you to do this efficiently with magic, fun and ease.
We trust that you will take advantage of the Solstice, to redream a new year. Let’s remind each other, and help our children especially, regulate emotions, restore
heart-coherence within a peace-filled & loving family environment. May we change the trajectory of our future & reduce the ills of domestic violence, dysfunctional parenting and chronic mental illness seemingly on the rise.
Let’s regulate our diets on every level, and the diets of our children; not too much sugar, not too much dopamine from too much exposure to digital and social media and gaming, not too much alcohol (only adults of course); AND increase time and exposure to Nature, the sea right on our doorsteps, time with pets, growing veggies together, reading & discovering with new curiosity, the many wonders in plain sight.
Let’s regulate, moderate and re-calibrate our Lives, let’s think larger in new imaginative ways than we feel currently, and co-create a world our hearts know is possible. Take time this Summer holidays to reset your Compass for 2023,
& create new gentle & kind footprints.
