New Moon in Virgo

The new moon in Virgo is happening on the 3rd of September at 3:55 am.

New Moons are the beginning of a lunar cycle, where the sun and moon are together in a sign. This is spiritually about a new start or new endeavor in our life.

Virgo is a mutable earth sign, making it flexible, adaptable, and changing. It’s core focus is hard work, diligence, and adapting to the surroundings. With it being an Earth sign there is that grounding and dependable nature. But with it being a mutable sign, there is an everchanging and desire to fit the mold of what is required to be competent. In saying all that, it just means, you will be flexible within a rigid structure.

The moon is at 11 degrees of Virgo which is the second decan, associated with the 9 of Pentacles tarot card, known as ‘gain’. This shows building up structurally through efficiency and careful control, as well as being intentional about the way something is being built.

Venus is in Libra, showing that this is a time of being efficient and useful as well as being very diligent with the steps around how this is going to come about. This is opposing Saturn Retrograde. Saturn is the planet of blockages, delays, and flat-out no’s. This is a time that is being at odds with a blockage/ delay/ time issue. Or something materially standing between you and starting this. With Neptune being at the end of Pisces, there is a bit of disillusionment or lack of seeing what is in front of you and being confused as to what you are starting in the first place.

Take your time to consider your decisions and plan appropriately for what is to arise.
