Mid Winter Greetings
We trust that you are all keeping warm and dry, no doubt many are preparing for the Winter School holidays. May all our readers who are Parents enjoy this break too.
So much rain! We are grateful for the Cape dams filling up – as many of us remember the challenges that arose from the ‘drought’. We are grateful for the reduced ‘load shedding’ over the past two weeks, and we pray that this will allow us all to continue to re-balance, restore and re-invigorate our bodies, minds and hearts moving towards the Spring Season of 2023.
Thank you to our existing healers, service practitioners and consciousness coaches who have put themselves out there to assist individuals with restoring natural wellness. Thank you for choosing Link Up to communicate your presence and service to our local community. You matter to all of us! Natural Health and Wellbeing is important for everyone.
We trust that you will enjoy reading the articles, and that you may have more time to read this winter. Rev Berry Behr gladly offered her experience inspiring us all and reminding us of the ‘Creative Force’. We thought to add – ‘A letter to my Friend’ – Charlotte offered to write to and on behalf of her generation on ‘menstruation’; and Fadeela who is involved with parenting, education, healing and many schools in the Western Cape, was inspired to write for our newsletter – look for ‘RAND-OM’.
Despite the slowing down of pace, and the natural hibernation during Winter in the Cape, go check out the Calendar of events, and/or you may feel inspired to try new things springing up in our magazine.
We wish to honour the Life and Work of Evelyn Lyle-Goss, who ran The Natural Wellness Clinic in Claremont for many years. She expanded her services to include Somerset West, and also Fish Hoek where she lived with her family. Sadly Evelyn passed away on the 9th June. She will be missed by our community. Her wisdom and experience in the field of natural health was legion. We enjoyed her participation in many meetings and initiatives of The Link Up Magazine. She had a lively vibrancy about her and a passion for Natural Health. May we continue to be inspired by her passionate Spirit for Life and Natural Health.
We wish all our readers, advertisers, friends and associates, a pace that is grace-filled and restoring of bodies, minds and hearts from the inside out during these last weeks in Winter.
Warm regards,
Keep warm and dry,
Anne-Lise
