WELLNESS FOR ALL

WELLNESS FOR ALL

The world is in need of change. In order to truly heal the planet and us, we must embrace the power of food as medicine. And it’s not just about eating healthy – it’s about changing our way of thinking about what “healthy” means. It’s about understanding that good nutrition isn’t just about eating plants: it’s about eating foods that are good for us and the planet too.

The Ubuntu Wellness motto is “Wellness for all” – activating a sustainable, resilient, disease free and medicine free African-inspired way, by its own plant-based and roots-based ancient beliefs that ‘food is medicine’.

Our goal is to uplift vulnerable communities and to grow a healthy disease-free, medicine free plant based Africa. Our model is backed by extensive research on the scientific benefit of plant-based living for improving multiple health outcomes, including reducing stress, neurointegration, disease reversal and uplifting community wellness profiles.

The life affirming 21-day healing diabetes challenge is an evidence-based, proof
of concept program. This has led us to bear witness to the remission and reversal of Type 2 diabetes and other lifestyle diseases, including high blood pressure,
cholesterol, arthritis, asthma and obesity.

This program is suitable for promoting individual, climate, and planetary heath, as well as resolving government health budget inefficiencies around Type 2 diabetes (T2D), and other lifestyle diseases.
The #HealingAfrica Challenge began in 2021 with Premier Alan Winde being matched alongside a vulnerable community member undergoing a supported dietary intervention aimed at reversing their T2D.

The main goal is to help your body repair and heal from type 2 diabetes by removing the cause of insulin resistance (all animal fats and refined oils) and by embracing a whole food plant based diet.

The Ubuntu Diabetes Reversal Program is about going back to our roots and embracing the indigenous wisdoms of Africa’s Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) traditional lifestyles.
