Using Emotional Freedom
Technique (EFT)
EFT is, in a nutshell, an emotional version of acupuncture; it
is about restoring your mind, body and feelings to a state of
harmony & balance so that you are not limited by negative
emotions from past events such as trauma or loss. It is a
combination of 2 sciences: acupuncture (but without the
needles) and mind body medicine. In using EFT for weight loss
or obesity, one looks at the causes of self-sabotage – energy
blocks that contribute to negative thoughts and uncomfortable
physical symptoms. As EFT addresses the underlying causes of
energy blocks and all their manifestations, it helps you take
control of your health and happiness. In the area of weight loss, it
is highly effective as an aid because it is very relaxing and
usually removes anxiety, with anxiety gone the
drive for emotional overeating disappears.
Cravings are often a result of our emotions, anxiety or stress.
