I do hope you like our beautiful, colourful cover this issue.
The artwork was created by Fiona Almeleh, a Cape Town
artist and Empathic Diviner. Read more about her and
what she has to offer on page 5.
Congratulations to Maryam Russon, Matilda Smith and
Hannetjie Smit, our three winners of the ‘easy living food’
book. I trust you will enjoy trying out many of the recipes. This
issue we are excited to host not one but TWO giveaways:
3 pairs of weekend passes to the Celebrate Life Festival
coming up in June, and a hamper of Enchantrix products.
There is also lots to read: How to flu-proof your immune
system, more about cancer, tips to lower blood pressure
naturally, a Lovely Retreat in the Knysna Forest and learn
about Ear candles.
I love the Autumn days; cool, crisp mornings that precede
warm, sunny days, the gradual changing of green
leaves to glorious reds and yellows. But as the leaves and
temperatures fall, I encourage you to turn a thought to
those less fortunate than ourselves, for whom winter brings
extra challenges, and please knit squares, donate warm
clothing and blankets, do whatever you can to help those
around us who are in need this coming winter. There are
many organisations and individuals who do good work, let
us help where we can.
