Maggots make a meal of a woman’s ear canal.
BIZARRE
When Rochelle returned home to England from a trip to
Peru, she kept hearing a scratching in her ear, had severe
headaches, dscharge from the ear. It was discovered
she had flesh-eating maggots deep inside her ear. She
suffered no damaged to her eardrum, blood vessels, or
facial nerves, but the worms chewed a 12mm hole in her
ear canal, which is reparable.
Our ears are very exposed and need regularly to be cleaned.
